PRODYN's expertise in producing
pre-
cise, quality EM instrumentation
makes them uniquely qualified to also
produce cable assemblies that are
used for EM measurements or many
other applications. PRODYN regular-
ly produces standard cable assemblies
but also specializes in RF type pre-
cision cables with any length, con-
nector style or bend configuration.
All cables are built in our factory
using the highest quality U.S. and/
or Swiss components.
Industry standard connectors such as
N, SMA, BNC, TNC, SMB, HN or many
others can be built to your specifi-
cations on practically any available
RG type cable. Semi-rigid cables are
routinely built using .034, .047,
.070, .086, .118, .141, and .250
coax. Special soldering techniques
allow PRODYN's technicians to build
semi-rigid cables using pure alum-
inum outer and inner conductors.
Special application cables using
connectors such as 100 ohm twinaxial
modified GR style or GHV can also be
made to order.
PRODYN has excellent sources for
custom connectors that are not com-
mercially available, which typically
are modified versions of existing
types. Every effort is made to keep
delivery time to a minimum on these
types.
PRODYN uses state-of-the-art test
equipment to verify performance for
insertion lees, VSWR, high voltage,
resistance and time domain. Cables
used for delay lines can also be
built to your specifications, by
themselves, or in custom packaging.
PRODYN stocks many components so,
usually, deliveries can be made in
